About

Growing up in a family of artists, creativity has always been second nature to me. From fashion design and painting to graphic design and video editing, I’ve explored and refined every creative outlet that inspires me most.

Born and raised in Metro Detroit, I continue to collaborate with local artists and expand our collective body of work. My career has taken me from small businesses to luxury brands like Détroit Is The New Black, MATTHILDUR, and Louis Vuitton, where I developed a deep understanding of e-commerce, wholesale distribution, client relations, and creative direction.

Today, as Assistant Director at MATTHILDUR, I bring together everything I’ve learned: managing global e-commerce, wholesale distribution, flagship operations, and marketing with an eye for detail and innovation. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising and Art from Wayne State University, where my foundation in both creativity and business began.

GETTING PERSONAL

I am a detail-oriented, extremely creative, and experimental artist and individual in everything I do. And I treat life the same way.

I subconsciously look at life through rose-colored glasses, in every aspect. Picking the best in people, seeing positive outcomes of each new opportunity, and treating every kind of situation with an open mind and optimism. Not doing so otherwise lets the vicious reality of the world win, thus taking life more seriously than it may deserve.

While the stresses of our global, political, social, and personal issues may take a toll on each of us, the best thing I have found to do is to just keep going. Keep creating. Keep fighting. Keep existing. All doing so with grace and contentment.

I choose to take this attitude and outlook in everything I encounter, professionally and personally. And I encourage everyone to do the same as I firmly believe that taking care of yourself and your mindfulness has a great impact on those around you. Ripple effect.

When I work, I take each project with my heart. My passion and perfectionism is what drives me the most and brings out my best work. Whether I’m creating social content, formatting an e-commerce site, modeling, or sewing a new piece, I analyze the details. I think about why I’m creating it, who it’s for, how it will function, how it will be presented and viewed, and why it matters. Answering each of those questions has become a default step in my work process and thus, motivates me to improve each next project.

Letting your heart and soul become connected to your work will remind you why you’re even doing it in the first place.

What’s really the point if your soul isn’t in it?
